Peter Musyoka

Monitoring, Evaluation, Livelihoods & Agribusiness Development Expert

Peter is an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Specialist, Agribusiness Development Expert, and Enterprise Development Consultant with over 10 years of progressive experience supporting governments, development partners, NGOs, and private sector organizations across East Africa.

As a Technical Expert supporting Agro Pastoral Integrated Development (APID), Peter contributes to programme development, proposal writing, M&E system design, climate adaptation, livelihoods recovery, food security assessments, and organizational capacity strengthening. He possesses extensive experience in aquaculture, dairy, rabbitry, fisheries, horticulture, livestock commercialization, food systems, and climate-smart agriculture. His work includes supporting IFAD-funded ABDP, Kenya Livestock Commercialization Project (KeLCoP), Upper Tana Natural Resources Management Project (UTaNRMP), and several resilience-building initiatives in Kenya's ASAL counties.

Susan

Agro-Enterprise & Cooperative Development Specialist

Susan is a Business Development Services (BDS) and enterprise training specialist with over 12 years of experience designing, coordinating, and delivering capacity-building programs for cooperatives, MSMEs, women, and youth across East Africa. Certified as an ILO SIYB Master Trainer and IFC Blended BDS Coach, she has a practical track record in strengthening agricultural value chains and climate-smart service models.

Her project experience includes SNV (CRAFT Project), GIZ (African Biodigester Component), ACDI/VOCA – USAID (Wajir County), FAD & Ministry of Blue Economy, and Cordaid. She was Program Coordinator at MESPT (DMDP Banana Programme) and BDS Coordinator at KCB Foundation for livestock cooperatives. As Founder of Kyanika Agri-Ventures Limited, she manages a retail and wholesale enterprise specializing in honey sourcing and agricultural distribution. Her core competencies span cooperative governance, financial structuring, climate-smart agriculture, and green financing for SACCOs.

Nancy Gacheri Gitonga

Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Development & Investment Readiness Specialist

Nancy is a Business Development, Entrepreneurship and Investment Readiness specialist with over a decade of experience building and scaling impact-driven enterprises across Kenya and the wider East African region. She currently serves as Consultant Regional Coordinator for Sub-Saharan Africa on the International Trade Centre (ITC) SheTrades & Visa Project.

Her core strength lies in turning early- and growth-stage MSMEs, women- and youth-led businesses, into bankable, investment-ready ventures through targeted coaching in financial modelling, business planning, operational restructuring and due-diligence preparedness. Across engagements with ITC, ILO, IFC, Graça Machel Trust, Equity Group Foundation, KCIC, KCB Foundation and MSEA, Nancy has supported over 500 entrepreneurs. She is a certified ILO-SIYB Master Trainer, EU-EAC MARKUP II Master Trainer, IFC-certified Blended BDS Coach, and ILO GET Ahead trainer, with a consistent focus on women's economic empowerment.
